Brief Report of the program:

Program Title: RE-JIG THE OSTEAL- A KNOW AND DO APPROACH FOR THE POST GRADUATES

Credit Points:6 credit points

This CDE program gave both the faculty and the PG students insights into periodontal regeneration, focusing on the latest evidence-based regenerative materials, surgical protocols, and their clinical indications. Participants were engaged in expert-led sessions on decision-making, material selection, wound healing, and regenerative outcomes along with clinical case based discussions. The lecture was followed by a hands-on session where the regenerative techniques, graft placement, membrane stabilization, and suturing techniques were taught on a pig mandible.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and honoring the guest speaker with a momento.

Outcome of the program:

  1. Better understanding on the various techniques and materials used in periodontal regeneration.
  2. Insight into the newer materials in the market
  3. Hands-on experience on the pig mandible including concepts of bone defects
