INTRODUCTION
Prevention of oral diseases and Oral health promotions of population being key aim, the department of Public Health Dentistry is actively engaged in conducting outreach programs in the form of free dental screening camps and awareness program to various target population including school children, socially and economically deprived, geriatric and inaccessible remote population.
Emphasis is also being laid on providing dental care at an affordable price to such population. The department is also supplemented with fully equipped mobile dental van with specially designed audiovisual system effective oral education to public. Department is also provided with oral health museum consisting of an array of oral health educational material The department is keeping all promises of providing quality dental education to students and dental care to population.
