INTRODUCTION

Department of Paediatric dentistry was established in MRIDS to meet the preventive therapeutic and comprehensive oral health care needs of children. Equipped with modern and sophisticated armamentaria, the department delivers modern and innovative dental treatment to young children, adolescents as well as differently abled children. With variety of cases reported, department lays a perfect substrate for learning of undergraduate students practically and theoretically. Our team has immense experience in treating not only normal child but also special child.

The Vision of the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry is to concoct dental health education, innovative treatment strategies, research methodologies of global standards and infuse to provide best clinical and academical experience to premier emerging dental professionals.

MISSION

To galvanize children to take part in oral health care by instilling a positive dental experience at various stages.
To establish patient friendly and passionate clinical environment.
To establish trust worthy bond between child, parents and dentist.
To develop tailored practice for children with special health care needs.
To enlighten and educate parents as well as children various preventive and therapeutic measures.
To generate self-esteemed confident under graduates to deliver dental health care services to every child including special child.
